Xiaomi Mi 9X coming soon, full specification leaked on launch


Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone now. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer started the year with a bang. In just 3 months Xiaomi has launched several phones including Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, Redmi 7, and Redmi Go. Looks like the company is in no mood to stop anytime soon. Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new smartphone under the Mi 9 series aka Mi 9X. A post on Chinese microblogging site — Weibo — has revealed all the key specs details about the Mi 9X. Not just specs the expected price of the Mi 9X has also been leaked.


–The Mi 9X will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. This also means that the screen-to-body-ratio of the Mi 9X will be much bigger and suitable for multimedia experience.

The Mi 9X will include waterdrop notch on the front much like the recently launched Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, and Redmi 7.

–The leak suggests that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor.

–The Weibo post has revealed only one variant of the phone with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. There may be other variants too.

–On the rear panel the phone is said to include triple camera setup where the primary sensor will be of 48MP, secondary will be a 13MP sensor for ultrawide shots and an 8MP sensor for depth or portrait clicks. The 48MP camera is tipped to use Sony IMX586 sensor.

–On the front, the Mi 9X is tipped to come packed with a 32MP selfie shooter. The selfie camera will sit inside the dot drop notch.

–The Mi 9X is said to come packed with 3300mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge 4+ fast charging support.

In addition to the specs, the Weibo post has also revealed that the expected starting price of the Xiaomi 9X. The phone is said to launch at a starting price of CNY 1,699 — which roughly translates to around Rs 17,500. The Mi 9X is expected to launch in China first and later may be followed by other markets. Considering the Mi series doesn’t launch in India, the Mi 9X may also not come to the country.
