Alia Bhatt had a successful 2018 as her lone release, Raazi, not just did surprisingly well at the box office but also helped her garner critical appreciation. And now, the actress has started 2019 on an exciting note as well. While she is gearing up for the release of her next, Gully Boy, the actress has also bought a new flat in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
According to a report in DNA, the property is situated on the first floor of a swanky building in Juhu, and Alia paid a whopping Rs 13.11 crore to purchase it. Interestingly, according to the report in the daily, the original cost of the flat stands at Rs 7.86 crore.
Alia Bhatt currently shares a fancy apartment with her sister Shaheen Bhatt in Juhu. The Bhatt sisters shifted to the apartment in 2016, several glimpses of which are there on Alia’s Instagram. Redone with quirky colours and curated art pieces, Alia and Shaheen’s Juhu home is styled with big windows and cosy furniture.
Alia is also the owner of two more Juhu properties that she bought in 2015 from Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher. While one was for Rs 5.16 crore, the other costed Rs 3.83 crore.
On the work front, Alia is currently busy with the promotions of Gully Boy, which is her first on0screen collaboration with Ranveer Singh. The film, which will release on February 14, has been directed by Zoya Akhtar. The trailer and some songs of the film have already been released and have been immensely liked by fans.
